Privacy policy

Jova (“Jova,” “we,” “us”) operates a marketplace that compares vehicle lease offers listed by third-party dealers and brokers. This policy describes what we collect when you visit our websites, browse offers, or reserve a deal, and how we use and share it.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you reserve a deal or join a waitlist we collect your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and your answers to questions about your vehicle preferences, timing, estimated credit range, and driving habits.

Payment card verification. Reservations are confirmed with a $0 card authorization processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never received or stored by Jova. Stripe’s handling of your information is described in its own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically. We collect usage information (pages viewed, buttons clicked, approximate location from IP address, device and browser type) and advertising attribution data, including campaign parameters and ad click identifiers (such as Google’s gclid) stored in a first-party cookie for up to 90 days.

How we use information

We use this information to operate the marketplace, process and follow up on reservations, notify you about offer availability, understand which vehicles and offers people want, measure the performance of our advertising, and prevent fraud and abuse.

How we share information

We share information with service providers that help us run the product: payment processing (Stripe), data storage, analytics (Mixpanel), email and text messaging, and customer support tools. These providers may only use your information to provide services to us.

We share limited conversion data with advertising platforms (such as Google) to measure whether our ads work. This can include hashed versions of your email address or phone number and ad click identifiers. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with dealers or brokers without your consent.

Text messages

If you provide your phone number, you agree to receive text messages about your reservation and related offers. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for attribution and analytics as described above. Your browser’s settings can limit or delete cookies. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal where required by law.

Retention

We keep reservation and waitlist information while we operate the service and for a reasonable period afterward, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Your choices and rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing hello@usejova.com. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Children

Our services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
